Groundhoppers. Odd, slightly obsessive people who travel incessantly in search of sporting action. Rather than devotedly following a single team, they tend to wander randomly from city to city, stadium to stadium, even sport to sport.
Which is more or less what this site does. It’s not a collection of match reports or stats. It’s not a travel guide to help you pick out where to get a drink or how to find a room for the night. It’s simply a collection of tales and reminiscences from sporting events around Europe, an idea loosely inspired by Harry Pearson’s ‘The Far Corner’ and stretched well beyond its natural breaking point.
